Fill Our Donation Bin to Keep Stomachs Full

Many of us take for granted having a pantry full of food or several nutritious meals a day on the table. Unfortunately, many people in our community experience food insecurity and hunger. To do our part to help those in need, Chiropractic Generation is collecting nonperishable food items for Gleaners Food Bank in Belleville.

It’s important that we give back to our community. Helping people who are struggling through this time is a small way we can reduce some of the anxieties of the season. That way families can focus on spending quality time with one another with less worry. Our joy comes from our relationships with others, and helping foster those relationships is important, particularly for those in need.”

Helping Those Locally

Dr. Steve chose to partner with Gleaners Food Bank because he sees that donations directly help those here in our community. He also knows one of the chief directors of the food bank and appreciates that he’s solidly community minded. “As Gleaners Food Bank has few extra administration fees, other than the bare bones of what they need to stay in operation, most of what’s donated goes to help those in need.” added Dr. Steve.

About Gleaners Food Bank

The food bank is a member of Feed Ontario and Food Banks Canada, and works closely with these organizations, local businesses, local farmers and food distributors to acquire donated food for the organization.

Gleaners Food Bank operates the Tri-County Warehouse, which serves seven other area food banks, numerous non-profit agencies and other organizations. The charity is run by volunteers who work hard year-round to serve those in need.

Thank you in advance for helping feed the hungry in our community.
We wish you and yours a joyous holiday season!
